• Adam Kidd

    Production Manager

Adam Kidd is the operations manager at LMH. He leads our team of skilled media operators in undertaking largescale tape ingest projects, quality control work and re-versioning and day-to-day broadcast work.

He joined LMH in 2019 having amassed over 15 years’ experience in audio engineering and head of transfer roles with Jungle Sound, the Gatehouse Theatre and Unit. Adam holds a degree in Audio and Recording Technology as well as several other audio qualifications in audio disciplines and is a certified AVID Pro Tools operator.

    DELIVERING LARGESCALE LIBRARY MIGRATION PROJECTS

Adam is one of our most experienced project operations leads. He acts as project lead for some of our largest library migration projects, handling legacy assets from national broadcasters, cultural archives, sporting organisations and international rights holders. He has day-to-day responsibility for keeping each project on track and progressing efficiently, ensuring that we meet the agreed throughput rates that are so important to efficiently ingesting hundreds of thousands of tapes.

As you would expect for someone with such a strong audio background, Adam Kidd leads on many of our audio ingest and restoration projects, as well as performing sound editing, creative sound design and audio engineering duties. He is equally accomplished in the video sphere, however: he is an experienced QC operator and editor, as well as being adept at file conversion.
