Memnon names Fabien Bruyneel as managing director of Memnon Brussels

LMH’s sister company Memnon, a global media preservation and migration services provider, has welcomed industry leader Fabien Bruyneel as Managing Director of Memnon Brussels.

Based out of Memnon’s headquarters in Belgium, Fabien Bruyneel will be key to driving client projects as well as the operational parts of the business, including P&L.

Bruyneel will report into, and work closely with recently appointed CEO, Heidi Shakespeare and COO Gary Edwards. His role will see him spearhead all daily operations, with a core focus on the production cycle and service delivery, while balancing all financial responsibilities. In addition, he will offer strategic advice to maximise all change management efforts related to HR and P&L as well as multiple other initiatives.

“I’m delighted to be a part of Memnon, sharing as I do the company’s passion for protecting and preserving content and media for the future,” commented Bruyneel. “The company has not only an industry-leading team, but also an outstanding quality of services and strong customer relationships. We have an exciting future ahead of us as we expand our offerings and continue to take advantage of more growth opportunities.”

Bruyneel’s early career saw him work across some of the leading advertising and media buying agencies including AVAS Group. Here he developed excellent client management skills and gained in-depth experience of buyer procurement and strategic marketing communications. Bruyneel has held a number of leadership roles, most recently as managing director of Boukè, a Belgian public broadcaster.

Heidi Shakespeare, CEO at Memnon said: “Fabien Bruyneel is exactly the type of leader who we know will be key in driving the company’s future. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership skills. And because of that, we’re confident he’s going to be a valuable team member during our next phase of strategic development. I’m excited that he’s a part of our journey as we cement our position as industry leader for media processing, archiving and digitisation.”
